I found Whitney sleeping next to Kate's bed one morning. So sweet. Whitney has gone through phases of waking up in the middle of the night and coming to Mommy and Daddy's room, which begins to wear on Mommy and Daddy. One night Trevor told Whitney if she would stay in her bed all night she could have chocolate milk. Guess what? She stayed in her bed all night and continued to for a while. The next time she started coming to our room chocolate milk did not work. We resorted to putting a sleeping bag on the floor in our room and she just comes in in the middle of the night and gets in it. Hopefully it doesn't last forever.
Nothing beats an ice cream cone!
Doing hair. I'm sure there many more of these days to come.
Kate playing with her doll house. I love how she pulls up a chair.
She can entertain herself for quite a while.
State Golf
The Wakeland girls golf team made it to State, so we made a road trip to Austin. We did a little swimming at the hotel, went out to eat with the team, and visited Barton Springs playground. The girls really love being around Daddy's golfers. We did head out to the golf course for a little bit to see the girls finish up. It's pretty nerve racking on mom to make sure they are quiet and well behaved.
The girls and I rode the train and I accidentally took a video, which ended up being kind of fun. We were on a train with a bunch of students on a field trip.
If there is a Krispy Kreme close we must stop. It is educational you know.
Mother's Day Weekend
We traveled to Salina to celebrate Mother's Day this year. The girls always love going to Kansas. They love Grandma and Grandpa's and they love to see their cousins Alexis and Daniel. We had our typical backyard fun playing ball. I even got a family picture in.
Kate thinks it is pretty cool to climb Grandma and Grandpa's tree.
Alexis helping Kate bat.
Kate Graduates from Preschool
