I almost skipped over Halloween. Kate was Little Bo Peep and Whitney was a sheep. I had been planning this one for about a year when I picked up the Little Bo Peep outfit at a second hand store. Luckily they both enjoyed their costumes. I was a little worried that Whitney might be unwilling, but the potential candy was incentive enough. We went to our church Fall Festival the night before Halloween and Kate got to do the bungee trampoline and get her face painted. Whitney declined on the face painting but sure enjoyed the suckers. There were several bounce houses and carnival games for them to enjoy too. On Halloween we went to the girls' school to participate in the parade and snapped a class picture with Kate's class. That evening we went trick-or-treating for the first time. We met up with some friends and had a nice time going around the neighborhood. It was a great Halloween. I wonder how long they are going to allow me to pick out their costumes. I have a feeling my time is running out.
