We ventured out to the State Fair on a Sunday afternoon after church. We were on a mission to catch some of the afternoon dog shows. We missed the first one, but made it to Amazing Dobermans. Kate was tickled when the dogs rode out on a motorcycle with their owner all dressed up. It's hard to not enjoy the show with Kate's laughter next to you. Then it was on to the petting zoo. We mistakenly bought food to feed the animals, but you can imagine that they had already been fed quite a bit. One of the highlights of the petting zoo was seeing the kangaroos. The Joey was in his mama's pouch and we got to watch him come out. Next we went to the Backyard Circus. Kate got to be a fairy with several other little girls. It was definitely fun for the kids. Cotton Candy was next on the list. Good Stuff! That pretty much wrapped up our time at the fair. Yee-Haw!
